Living with and caring for plants is to praise uniqueness, the importance of time and active listening. In a way, it is to be fluent in the silent languages that botany teaches us, where patience and generosity are essential subjects. And so scarce these days.

Flowers do not all need the same thing at the same time and do not behave in the same way when they change environment. They are the result of circumstances, amplified or contained depending on the environment that surrounds them. Caring for plants germinates sensitivity and attention. These are crucial characteristics for human and professional relationships.

We are better off with those who understand us, teach us and beautify our daily lives.

THE IDEA SPROUTED

As a creative director and set designer, Mafalda Morais has already establislements coexist with pieces from other universes in a way that is as natural as it is striking. She is recognised for her almost adventurous search for species, respecting their seasonality and origin, to serve a concept or a goal.

The biome of her creative identity also encompasses romanticism, nostalgia and a conscious attitude towards production: a preference for second-hand props, collecting natural objects and technical solutions that reduce waste.
